Assistant Finance Manager - Edinburgh - £200 - £260 p/day
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to join a leading Bank based in Edinburgh on a contract basis. This will run to the end of the year with a high chance of extension.
The role holder will be expected to support a breadth of activities from monthly reporting, journal preparation and posting, balance sheet controls, client billing, production of monthly MI pack and financial forecasting & modelling. Key requirements include good analytical capability, great attention to detail and an ability to work collaboratively at many levels.
The key objectives of the role are;
Supporting the timely delivery of monthly internal and/or external reporting requirements.
Active participation in resource sharing.
Supporting a robust control framework for all processes within remit.
Undertaking ad hoc work and investigation arising from stakeholder requests.
Supporting agreed funded and unfunded projects.
Supporting delivery of efficiencies and culture of continuous improvement.
Establishing and building relationships with stakeholders.
You as the ideal candidate will require :
Accounting Qualification - ACCA / CIMA etc. or Part-Qual or AAT
Knowledge of Regulatory / external / statutory reporting
Financial Services background
