IPV Business Analyst

The Role

The IPV Analyst will be based with a leading financial services company in London on an initial contract length of 6 months. Although the initial contract is for 6 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is between £400-450/day.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high calibre individual to join the CVA IPV team. The IPV Analyst will be working in the constantly evolving world of CVA, FVA and DVA derivative valuations and reporting, focusing on independent price testing and calculation of the valuation adjustments and hedges undertaken by the business, while also having the opportunity to get involved in exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly IPV and reserving process.
  • Market data promotion.
  • Enhancement and automation of processes.
  • Involvement in change initiatives to improve efficiency and or attribution quality.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • A detailed understanding of CVA and FVA Products or experience of working in Credit/Rates/FX IPV teams.
  • Ability to work in a time-pressured and dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of derivatives pricing, numerical calculations and valuation variables.
  • High level of desire with the ability to follow up and resolve issues.

  • CIMA, ACA or CFA would be an added advantage.
